When college started, I realized keeping track of my finances was going to be my responsibility. The summer before college, I had been spending my money carelessly. When my tuition bill came in, I found that I was short on the bill because my financial aid didn't cover all of it. I had to get a job, and really started tracking my finances to make sure I would be able to pay off the rest of my tuition, as well as my other educational expenses.

UFCU really, really helped me with this responsibility. They make deposits really easy, so when I was working odd hours, I was still able to use UFCU's ATMs to cash in my checks.
