UFCU Names Chris Turnley Executive Vice President – Member Experience
Austin, TEXAS, February 22, 2022 — UFCU, Austin’s largest locally owned financial institution, has named Chris Turnley executive vice president of member experience at the 85-year-old, not-for-profit cooperative with $7.8 billion in assets under management and serviced.
Turnley, who joined UFCU as vice president of retail in 2019, will now oversee all functions that directly serve UFCU’s 346,000 Members, including branch offices, member services, lending, wealth management, insurance, digital, and other services designed to personalize Members’ experience and help them achieve greater levels of financial health.
“While Chris’ 20+ years’ experience in strategy, technology, operations, sales, and service has been a tremendous benefit to UFCU, it’s his purposeful, empowering, and highly-engaging relational approach that truly distinguishes his leadership,” said UFCU President Michael Crowl. “His vast experience has ranged from large, global companies to a number of successful start-ups. What’s more, and reflective of UFCU’s mission, Chris has helped enhance the well-being of our community through extensive volunteer work and Board service with nonprofit organizations.”
Turnley holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.
