UFCU Lowers Minimum Balance Requirement for Savings Accounts

Effective January 2, 2024, UFCU lowered the minimum balance requirement for Savings Accounts. Previously, Members were required to maintain a minimum of $5 in their Savings Accounts. Now the minimum balance requirement is only $1.

In the spirit of fairness, UFCU will release the difference ($4) to the primary Savings Accounts (accounts ending in 0000) for all Members who opened their account(s) on or before January 1, 2024. Affected Members will see the $4 deposit reflected in their balance on July 1 with the description, “$4 released funds for new minimum balance requirement.”
