UFCU Unveils New Campus Branch Through Historic Texas State University Partnership

Innovative 15-Year Collaboration Enhances Financial Success for Over 300,000 Bobcats

AUSTIN, Texas, October 24, 2024 – UFCU is proud to announce the opening of its full-service, on-campus Texas State University branch. UFCU’s TXST LBJ branch is located within Texas State’s Lyndon B. Johnson Student Center and is designed to provide over 300,000 Bobcats — including students, faculty, staff, and alumni — with access to financial counseling, workshops, and other tools to build financial success and brighter futures.

This innovative branch is the result of a groundbreaking 15-year partnership (opens in a new window) agreement, positioning UFCU as the official credit union of Texas State University and Texas State Athletics. The TXST LBJ branch features a next-generation design, creating a welcoming environment with a “living-room” layout, self-service amenities, and private consultation areas for personalized financial assistance.
