UFCU Ranked #1 Among Austin-Based Credit Unions by Austin Business Journal for Ninth Consecutive Year

UFCU is the number one credit union in the Austin-MSA, ranking first in number of Members, branches, and Austin-area deposits.

AUSTIN, Texas, July 24, 2024 — For the ninth year in a row, the Austin Business Journal recognized UFCU as the #1 credit union. With over $3 billion in Austin-area deposits last year, UFCU continues to surpass other credit unions in deposits, Members, and branches.

UFCU serves a growing membership of nearly 385,000 and has recently expanded its reach with new Austin-area branches in Georgetown and Cedar Park. The credit union is set to further its expansion with a second location in Pflugerville and a new branch on the Texas State University campus in San Marcos, complementing its position as the official Credit Union of Texas State Football.
